It is at the beach end of a sandy lane (2nd house from oceanfront), just 10 seconds from the area's BEST beach, the Pedestrian Beach. The Sand Castle Beach House is located in the HEART of St. Augustine Beach and near all of "Old City" St. Augustine historic sites. With The Sand Castle's perfect beach location, you will be near lots of things to do either right outside your door or close by. Frequent visitors to the area know the importance of not being stranded on some remote beach miles from everything the area has to offer! Family Friendly Beach House The Sand Castle vacation rental home has 8 bedroom areas, 4.5 baths, 3 sitting rooms, 2 kitchen areas, a garage/game area, oceanview balcony and deck. It sleeps up to 21 guests in 6 conventional bedrooms, the studio and den bedroom areas (sofa beds and privacy doors), game area double futon, living room double sleeper sofa and twin size sofa. |

Main Living Area - Second Floor
The main living area is comprised of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. A den, king bedroom, one and a half baths, oceanview balcony and washer/dryer are also located on this floor. Living Area The living area includes large L-shaped sofa with sleeper, cable TV with DVD player. The half bath and washer/dryer is accessed from the living area. |
Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, oven, coffemaker, refigerator, stove, etc. (We even have a blender for those frozen margaritas!) Dining Area |
Den The den has a sofa bed, cable TV and DVD player. Designed with a privacy door, this room can be used as a sitting room or additional bedroom area. |
Second Floor Bathrooms There is one full bathroom and a half bath on the second floor. The half bath is off of the living area and the full bath is accessed from the den. King Bedroom There is a king bedroom on the second floor. It has a king size bed, cable TV and ocean view. |

Ocean View Balcony The ocean view balcony also adjoins the den providing a space to enjoy a view of the beach and quiet place to unwind. |
Third Floor Bedrooms and Baths
There are four bedrooms and two full baths on the third floor. King Bedroom Ocean View Bedroom one has a king bed, ocean view and cable TV. |
Queen Bedroom Ocean View Bedroom two has a queen bed and ocean view. |
Twin Bedroom and Queen Bedroom Bedroom three has two single beds. Bedroom four has a queen bed and cable TV. |

First Floor
The unique design of the Sand Castle offers a ground floor with no steps/stairs (perfect for elderly or small children) a small studio, king bedroom, garage/game area and full bathroom. This part of the house has its own entrance and can be closed off or opened into the rest of the house making it great for multi-families! |
The Studio The Studio has a sleeper sofa, cable TV and DVD player. It also has a small dining/kitchen area (equipped with stovetop, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, etc.) Designed with a privacy door, it can be used as a sitting room or separate bedroom. |

First Floor King Bedroom The first floor has a king bedroom and sitting area. The oversized sofa can be used as a twin size sleeping area. First Floor Bathroom The first floor bathroom is equipped with a shower but no tub for easier access by our elderly guests. The bathroom can be accessed via the king bedroom or garage/game area. |

Garage/Game Area The garage/game area is carpeted, air conditioned and heated. It has a game table, cable TV and a double bed futon with superior mattress (we paid extra for that). A privacy screen is also provided for those guests that choose to sleep there. The second floor and other living areas can be accessed by a door from the garage/game area. Direct access to the second and third floors (without disturbing first floor guests) is via the back entrance and parking area. |
Parking/Other Amenities
Because The Sand Castle can be accessed via the back alley, parking is available on both sides of the house and can accommodate up to 7 vehicles. There are also entrances on both sides of the building. We provide all linen including beach towels as well as beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach toys for the children. There is also an outdoor shower and barbeque grill (charcoal) for use of our guests. |
